Recovery is the restoration of physiological and psychological processes in the body due to sources of physical or emotional stress.These sources of stress can have a negative impact on athletic performance if adequate recovery practices are not implemented.

During recovery coaching sessions, coaches and athletes focus on eliminating lifestyle stress, improving sleep quality, preventing or recovering from illness and injury, shortening recovery between workouts, and removing chemical, emotional and physical toxins.
